Use Your Study Material To Power UP Your Preparation

Preparation is the most crucial stage in the process of appearing for any exam and it involves a lot of things like Study Material, Mock Test, Evaluation, Notes, and Time Management etc. It is quite evident that students with better study methods and strategies score higher on their exams.

There are no two ways about the fact that unique and different methods work for different people; the following are only suggestions on improving upon your current studying techniques.
Some of the following points that we suggest you to keep in mind are-
  •  It is best to review your notes right after class when it's still fresh in your memory so that you grasp the best out of it.
  •  Don't try to do all your studying the night before the test, it may just cause too much of clutter in your mind. Instead space out your studying, review class materials at least several times a week, focusing more on one topic at a time.
  •  Look forward for the best study material in market. We strongly recommend books by Arihant Publications. The books cover all the chapters topic wise.
  •  Seek a comfortable and quiet place to study with good lighting and little distractions. Avoid studying in your own bed.
  •  Start taking mock tests every week. It is the best possible way to evaluate yourself and your preparation level.
  •  Learn the basic concepts first, don't worry about learning the details until you have learned the main ideas.
  •  Take notes and write down a summary of the important topics as you read through your study material or use a highlighter to mark the important points.
  •  Taking short breaks is advisable. Your memory retains the information that you study at the beginning and the end better than what you study in the middle.
  •  Make sure that you understand the syllabus well, don't just read through the material and try to memorize everything.
  •  Take crash courses books, these are easily available in the market and even online. Arihant Publication provides good 40 days crash course books.
  •  Listening to relaxing music such as classical or jazz on a low volume can relieve some of the boredom of studying.
  •  Don't study later than the time you usually go to sleep. It is important for brain to rest and refresh. Instead try studying in the afternoon or early in the evening. If you are a morning person you can try studying in the morning.
